Advanced Prepress

In 1995, PULP was one of the first book printers in North America to go computer-to-plate. Since then, we built a sophisticated and efficient digital imaging workflow that provides significant capacity for processing multi-color cover files and one and two color text files.

In our current workflow, you send us PDF files on either a disk or through our online file submission solution. Your files are preflighted to check for possible problems. If a problem is detected, we alert you promptly and work with you to quickly resolve the issue in order to keep your job on schedule. However, while we are able to effectively troubleshoot most problems discovered in the files we receive, it can be a costly process in both time and money for you. You are much better served if you send us well-built, trouble-free files that we can process quickly and are ready to image.

If you need a one-stop shop for all of your prepress work, PULP can scan photographs, artwork, fine line work, and screens and compose them into your final digital files. Our extensive experience working in a digital imaging environment gives us the ability to efficiently process your files and effectively troubleshoot any problems, provide timely and accurate proofs, and keep your job moving through production.
